Learn the foundations of acting through Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night! Led by Allegra Wright, an actor and educator from Burnaby, BC who has taught with Bard on the Beach Shakespeare company for over six years.

This 2 day workshop will focus on working from text to physicalization to make truthful acting choices. Participants will learn acting fundamentals through ensemble and individual exercises; exploring text, imagery, story-telling, character creation and movement. They will learn to speak Shakespeare’s text naturally; deciphering the language and bringing character to life through the words.

Allegra Wright is a skilled experienced teacher with 7 years teaching at Bard on the Beach and Music BMus in Vocal Performance from Berklee College of Music.  She is working toward her MA currently.  She also has a Theatre Diploma and Music Certificate (both Dean’s List) from Douglas Collage.
