Discover the magic in the present moment, bond with your team, create amazing memories and stories, build confidence and develop new skills.
These classes help to develop social confidence, focus, reading the energy of the room, calming the mind, quick thinking, improvisational skills, conversation, imagination, memorization and creative storytelling. There will be plenty to learn and so much fun as we play games and build trust with each other as a group!
This course will cultivate a safe space to explore, learn, and play. Students will learn how actors prepare for performances via various games and exercises. There will also be some introductory lessons on scripted scenes and monologue work.
This class was created for those who have had some experience in acting but want to learn more, AND for those who are new to the world of theatre but curious and eager to jump into something that will excite them and challenge them in a constructive and fun way!
The Magic in the Moment class experience is a play-based discovery of what makes telling stories fun and valuable as we learn to embody different characters and learn about ourselves and others.
