Begin your theatre training and get in touch with the magic of the present moment! “Find where the funny is.”
“Find where the connection is.”
With a focus on reading the energy of the room, calming the mind, improvisation, conversation, imagination, body language, and creative storytelling, there will be plenty to learn and so much fun to be had!
In this course we will cultivate a safe space in which we can explore, work, play and find confident creative expression. Through carefully crafted exercises students will learn the ways by which an actor prepares themselves for their performances and works together as an ensemble team. Through games they will bond with their peers and learn to work together. All this will help the students to better understand how an actor can think quickly on the spot to find the sparks of comedy and dramatic meaning that can touch people’s hearts and tell interesting stories.
